Risk Management Rulebook

The team at Powerisk can work with you to help you understand and quantify energy price risks. Powerisk develops a client specific Risk Management Rulebook which will reflect your attitude to risk. We can also attend internal ‘Risk Management’ meetings, as independent assessors to evaluate client's risk.

We are much more comfortable with our energy procurement strategy now that we have fully understood and quantified our price exposure

All trading operations require a risk management function or ‘rulebook 'which sets out the trading rules, defines the risks to be measured and valued and the ‘risk limits’ within which the business is comfortable to operate. If there is any energy purchasing flexibility in the procurement strategy, then the business has some energy price risk. It is critical that you understand, quantify and manage this risk, which is where the strength of Powerisk's experience can help you.
