Energy Curves regain some of the Losses

The energy markets have recovered from the 'plunging losses' seen earlier in June which dragged down fuel and power prices. Prices across the power curve all report strong week on week gains.

The energy markets have recovered from the 'plunging losses' seen earlier in June which dragged down fuel and power prices. With oil prices bouncing backand a stronger carbon market, prices across the power curve all reported strong week on week gains. Winter 11 Baseload traded at £56.80/MWh - up over £1 when compared to the previous week while the Summer Contracts each gained around £2/MWh with Summer 12 closing at £54.95/MWh and Summer 13 at £58/MWh.
