SSE looking redevelop Barking

SSE attempts to lead the green revolution.

SSE have stepped up their renewables programme with a scheme to develop Barking Power station (which they own 30.4%) into a more effecient CCGT but also looking to reduce the carbon emission from this station. If achieved this technology could be sold on to other power producers.
