All change

28 June 2007

Who will be the new energy minister and will Hilary Benn be the best man for new nuclear build his Dad is not a supporter.

As Gordon Brown is ushered into No 10 and starts annoucing his cabinet it is fair to say that the announcement that Shirley Williams will advise him on nuclear proliferation is somewhat worrying. It is unclear if she is going to influence him on new nuclear power build on helping in the decision for trident. Politically it could be argued that it be worth attacking him on bringing in Shirley Williams as so called new blood she is as old as the hills, but perhaps more worryingly her views on anything nuclear have always been a little odd. Thats is whay she lefft the Labour party in the first place.
