BP CATS pipeline outage

10 July 2007

BP outage nothing to wrry about.

BP's CATS pipeline is out of action for two weeks, although this is an unscheduled outage and prices have risen marginally it is clear that this will not have a long lasting effect on prices. Many players did feel that the curve might respond to this news, but it has not budged.

As usual the big drivers are the spreads between fuels and the cost of carbon.
