Winter 05 off 75p

04 May 2005

Winters converge with front curve taking a battering.

Winter 05 dropped 75p to £45.00 on bearish oil moves. Winter 06 dropped 10p to £43.25 and as predicted by Powerisk the spread on the two Winters has now narrowed, to £1.75. There is no doubt that a market that has seen the price rises the UK power market has seen in the last couple of months is due a bit of sell off, but the likelihood is that this will not last forever.
