June and July bullied up but will they fight back?
June and July traded up to above £31, and £30 respectively. These look very expensive when day ahead in May is trading at between £30 and £31, traders are obviously expecting less mild weather and no widening of the demand and supply gap. Or the premium for trading on a forward basis has widened. However, you look at it, this maybe a last hurrah before the June drops to reflect the fact that it is a Summer month with lowish demand and lower gas prices when the weather gets warmer.
