Prompt prices fell with the cold snap leaving and plenty of plant on the system. This fall in the prompt pushed the curve the further down and the highs of Winter 05 at £37.10/MWh were a thing of the past with Winter 05 settling at a mid of £36.75/MWh. As mentioned before, with February 05 trading at £25.55/MWh it is difficult to see why potentially Feb 06 should be trading £7-£9 higher.
