Winter 05 more volatile than the Summer. Now traditionally a good time to pick up Summer.
Winter 05 took its lead from the gas market and rose to £35.20. Summer 05 traded flat and is now at levels not seen since this time last year.
With March traditionally a volatile month with players coming in to the market, to buy for the April sales round, this could be a good opportunity to pick Summer 05 up at a good level. This was certainly the case last year and less pronounced but would have been a good trading decision for 2003 as well.
