Buy the rumour sell the fact.
UK Coal admitted that they were unable to supply Drax power with enough coal, and were in breach of their contract. With a cold snap coming up and Drax being used as peaking plant, this could see a rise in prompt power prices. However, Drax will have substantial stock piles, and there will be provisions for getting more coal from a different supplier at UK Coals cost. In trading speak this is a classic "buy the rumour sell the fact". Now that it is fact and in the public domain, the biggest threat to prompt price rises is through the cold snap coming up.
