EdF unvelied their strategy for 2005, with partial privatisation in the same year they have stated that they intend to spend 56 billion Euros in investments. With 24 billion Euros in devt which they have struggled to get rid of, they have been froced to sell a stake in RTE their distribution business. Also there is some difficulty with their stake in Edison the Italian Utility, which has limited EdF's voting rights. It will be some time before, the company is fully restructured, particularly whilst the French staff are still being mutinous.
